Crysberg History – Innovation in Irrigation Technology

Foundation of Crysberg

Crysberg is founded as a private limited company by five entrepreneurs with a shared vision to develop innovative irrigation controllers and control systems. The company later becomes Crysberg A/S.

1986

From ideas to operations

The company moves from the founders homes into its first rented facilities in Cirkelhuset – marking the beginning of structured development and production.

1987

First international irrigation contract

Crysberg secures it’s first international agreement with RB Europe. entering the global market for turf irrigation systems and professional water managment.

1992

Purpose-built headquarters

Crysberg relocates to newly constructed facilities at Oldenvej 6, enabeling growth in production, product development and irrigation technology innovation.

1996

Expansion into turf irrigation (USA)

A key partnership with Tucor (Turf USA) accelerates product innovation. Crysberg develops advanced turf irrigation controllers with MK2 decoders, improved signaling and new product lines including; communication modules (COM systems), interfaces and early internet-based irrigation communication.

2001

Strategic partnerships and growth

Crysberg signs a major agreement with Rain Bird Turf, strengthening it’s position in the global irrigation and turf managment industry. At the same time; the Tucor agreement becomes non-exclusive, the headquarters is expaneded to double capacity and additional land is aquired to support future growth.

2016

Acquisition by Indutrade

Crysberg becomes part of Indutrade AB, providing strong international backing and enabeling continued development of advanced irrigation control technologies and smart water managment solutions.
